What are our families saying about Building Blocks?
Here are just a few of the notes we have received over the
years from our Building Blocks Families and Teachers:
Dear Anne. It’s so hard to believe that our family is
saying goodbye to Building Blocks! We are so
grateful for all of the wonderful things that have
come from your school – the lasting friendships [my
daughter] formed, the maturity [my son] gained, and
the confidence [my other son] developed to move on to his
very intense program that he needs. We can’t ever thank you
enough for giving him a chance and for allowing him to thrive.
All three of our kids are better because of you, your teachers,
and your school. I will miss all the special events you have, and
I know next year will feel hollow without that Mother’s Day
tea – we will miss you all SO MUCH – but we will keep in touch.

Dear Anne. I know this won’t be the last I see you. For me that isn’t hard to believe.
Wherever Building Blocks goes you better let me know because one day, in good time,
I’ll have children of my own and can’t wait to send them to you. I wish I could work for
you forever b/c I’ve loved every second of this
experience but I know I can’t. I have to move
on in my life but at the same time the things I’ve
seen, been shown and known this past year have been so grand and amazing
it’s hard to let go. With that however, I owe you a big thank you. A thank you
for taking a chance on me, believing in me, supporting me through life’s ups
and downs over the year. A thank you for pushing me to seek more, toward bigger and
better (but really just bigger because what could be better). You know how I think of
you like a mom and I can’t imagine not seeing you often with each passing day. It has
been a blessing to have met you and your family and the Building Blocks family. It’s
been a place where I felt I belong and had so much love and support. You’ve taught me
so much and more that I can even explain in words. I’m going to miss you and everyone
so much. All the laughs and happy tears. I could write you a novel of gratitude and it
wouldn’t be enough. Just know how much I love you and how thankful I am for every
little thing. And with that I’ll end on “period . period.” I will most definitely keep in
touch as I hope you do too. granted I know how busy of a women you are! But again, I’ll
be seeing you – one way or the other so it’s not a goodbye but a see you later. Enjoy all
the growth to come for Building Blocks and you’re your granddaughter April.

Dear Anne. We feel so incredibly lucky that [my son] is in such an incredible, loving, and
supportive setting every day. Your amazing teachers and all that they do for our
children is a reflection on how well you run Building Blocks. We are so grateful to be a

Dear Anne. Thank you, thank you for an
amazing ten years! I hit the lottery
jackpot when I got you as a boss! You and
Building Blocks have blessed me for all
these years, my job was wonderful
because of the unbelievable hard work you
put into our school. I am lucky to have
worked with you, and more importantly,
call you a friend! I will be back to sub and
see you, so we can stay in touch. Have a
wonderful summer and good luck in

loves Building Blocks and I am sure it’s
because of all your dedicated work and

Dear Ms. Anne. I don’t know where to begin.
You have played such a monumental part of
both the kids and my life. I have
relied on your advice, love and
support throughout the years. I
truly value all that you do for
everyone. Your reminders to not
worry all the time, sharing activities to do
with the kids are immeasurable. I have
established family friends through Building
Blocks, which can’t be replaced. I love the
informality of BBP, the parents and siblings
are part of the family whether they went to
BBP or not. Thank you and the whole (you
and all the teachers) for providing a strong,
solid loving foundation for both our kids and
us parents to form friendships and grow and
mature.
The teachers are amazing and friends there
quickly feel like family. The curriculum is
excellent, both practical and hands on. We
absolutely love it. My daughter has been
there three years and is already asking
about going back to visit once she's in
kindergarten.
A year gone by since that horrible day last October (super storm Sandy). I wanted
to thank you for your un-ended hope and support during this very
hard time for my family. Through this experience we have
learned much about humility, love, friendship and generosity. I
never thought my family would be on the receiving end of charity.
For all of your help, for a safe and familiar place for my children
and for all of your concern even though the school suffered loss,
I am thankful. God Bless you always!
Ms. Anne. There are no words to express how truly grateful I am for you. I never
thought [my son] would get to a place where he feels confident in himself. Thank
you for teaching him to love school and for showing him love and respect. Building

To All the Teachers at Building Blocks Preschool. Thank you all for the
love, care, concern and guidance that you have shown [my daughter]
since she was 2 years old. We couldn’t have asked for more wonderful
teachers! You are the best! We will always recommend you. We are extremely
grateful and can’t thank you enough! You all will be greatly missed! You have always
constantly shown how much you care for the children. Thank you for the wonderful
memories you have given (my daughter). We will never forget you! You have truly

Dear Anne. I don’t even know where to begin or how I could ever truly thank you for
all you and Building Blocks has done for [my daughter]. Your love and kindness to her
and our family has been incredible. I cannot believe it has only been one
year and already we have to say “goodbye.” However I am hopeful that we
will be back for the summer, and I know [my second daughter] will be a
future student! Thank you so much for your patience with [my daughter] and
your level of professionalism during her CPSE process. Please let me know if
you even need an extra set of hands! We will never forget what you have done for
us and we will always have a special place in our hearts for your amazing school!
